HEAD IN(TO) THE CLOUDS ••• More than just a HEAD IN(TO) THE CLOUDS
•••
More than just a gateway to the Galapagos, Ecuador’s mainland is brimming with natural riches too. A soft adventure to its cloud forests promises hikes to ethereal waterfalls, aerial rides through the treetops, and encounters with rare species found nowhere else on earth.

Not seen, but most definitely heard, a clamorous flock of bronze-winged parrots rustles in the canopy while a collared trogon flaunts its head-turning plumage like a showgirl. It’s a scene that unfolds two hundred feet above ground from an open-air gondola, which affords passengers a parakeet’s-eye view of the canopy.

#TBT // INVISIBLE HOUSE ••• If you have ever #TBT // INVISIBLE HOUSE

If you have ever dreamed of escaping to the desert for a long weekend or hosting the ultimate event among the Joshua Tree landscape, get ready to do it in style! This new, one-of-a-kind rental home is an oasis among the rocky hills and unique flora on the national park’s outskirts.

Invisible House is a 5,500 square-foot three-bedroom, four-bathroom smart property featuring a prefab guest house, a hundred-foot indoor pool, and solar and thermal energy. It is cantilevered one hundred feet off the ground, and its mirrored exterior reflects the ever-changing landscape and creates a dialogue between object and site. This project is the brainchild of Chris Hanley, a Los Angeles–based producer behind films such as American Psycho and The Virgin Suicides. The residence sits on ninety acres of land abutting Joshua Tree National Park, where Hanley intends to build James Whitaker’s Container House.

This stunning architectural masterpiece just hit the market for a cool $18 million, so if you are in the market be sure and take a look!

The Heritage - The Making of a Show Home ••• The Heritage - The Making of a Show Home
•••
Over two years of hard work, dedication, and collaboration came to a grand finale as the gorgeous 4,800-square-foot masterpiece, The Heritage – A VIE Legacy Show Home, was unveiled on September 16, 2022. Developers Carl and Tamara Tricoli of Bella Mare Real Estate Holdings and numerous building partners worked tirelessly to make the fifth VIE show home possible. It was a joy to celebrate this talented team at The Heritage Grand Reveal party featuring a solo fine art photography exhibit by Julian Lennon and a fundraiser for Point Washington Medical Clinic. As we close out the story of the beautiful home in Seagrove Beach, Florida, we’re excited to toast the team and congratulate the new homeowners on their legacy getaway by the Gulf of Mexico. Their story is just beginning!

PRAGUE AND BUDAPEST A TALE OF TWO CITIES ••• PRAGUE AND BUDAPEST
A TALE OF TWO CITIES

Often upstaged and overshadowed by their well-known European counterparts (including London, Paris, and Rome), Prague and Budapest are equal in beauty, history, culture, and, above all, charm. Located in the Czech Republic and Hungary, respectively, these unique Central European cities have their distinctions, resulting in well-deserved spots on many top-ten travel lists.

Resiliency is a trait that sets great entrepreneurs apart from the rest. And no one embodies this trait more than @lisamburwell of @viemagazine , @viespeaks and @theideaboutique , a marketing agency in Grayton Beach.

In this podcast, [Link in Bio] we cover the origins of Lisa’s highly successful businesses. She’s remarkably candid about her humble beginnings and the failures she faced along the way. She also weaves in vivid stories from @southwalton ’s past. Stories that I’d never heard before… like the time Prince (now King) Charles and Michael Eisner of Disney toured Seaside.

If I could describe Lisa in one word, it’s “Driven”. She’s a highly sought after asset in the community because of her incredible power of manifestation. Of bringing things into fruition by sheer will, while making it look easy. Obvious, even. Her highly tuned sense of grace hides the effort so that we only focus on the outcomes.

While she’s spearheading 3 businesses, Lisa also sits on as many non-profit boards; @lovetherep , @seaside_institute , and @cvhnkids05 . I get the impression that these are not passive roles. Giving back is important to her. It’s one of the things she’s driven by. Compelled to do.

Between Lisa’s businesses and non-profit work, few people have made as much of a positive impact on South Walton. But the Legacy of Lisa Burwell is still being written. She doesn’t slow down. There's plenty of road left to be driven.
