VIE Photographer, Romona Robbins, Featured in National Geographic Book
VIE is thrilled to extend a huge congratulations to Romona Robbins, one of our most featured photographers, whose photo of an Arabian stallion (above) taken in Giza, Egypt, has been featured in the National Geographic book Life in Color: National Geographic Photographs. The photo was originally published in VIE’s Summer 2009 issue in the article “Adventures in Egypt,” which was written and photographed for by Romona.
Romona, in addition to being the photographer for many of VIE’s award-winning articles and magazine covers, is also a VIE cover girl herself, gracing the front of our Summer 2011 Anniversary Edition.
Life in Color is a book of photography celebrating the wonders of our world that are created by color. Each chapter focuses on a specific hue, with meaningful quotes aside each photo and an introduction outlining the emotions and thoughts that each color can bring to the viewer. Romona’s Arabian stallion photo is featured in the red section of the book. Life in Color can be purchased on Amazon.
Congratulations, Romona! We love you!
