The words we speak to ourselves and others hold power. After enduring years of bullying, Adriana Carrig turned her pain into purpose and began crafting bracelets with positive affirmations for herself and her sorority sisters. Redefining the classic friendship bracelet, Carrig has built the Little Words Project, an empire to unite women on the premises of doing good in the world—a reminder to just “be nice,” as she likes to say. Ten years later, she has sold millions of empowering bracelets worn by everyone from the small-town girl to Taylor Swift.

Some of her best-sellers are short and sweet messages ranging from ‘love you more’ to ‘see the good’ and ‘fearless’. Today, Carrig sells her bracelets in some of the biggest retailers nationwide and has opened 10+ Little Words Project stores from coast to coast. Considering her grandmother started a jewelry line in the 1970s, it’s no surprise that this shared mission for empowering women and creating stunning designs are in her blood.
