VIE Takes 2015 London Fashion Week

Last week, with press passes in hand, owners Lisa and Gerald Burwell and members of the VIE Magazine team took flight heading to the 2015 London Fashion Week. VIE’s original presence at New York Fashion Week back in 2008 has evolved to include Berlin and London Fashion Weeks as of 2015, allowing for fresh takes on each season’s upcoming styles, as well as street style trends around the world.

VIE is incredibly proud to have been included among such an exclusive list of journalists and photographers at this year’s London Fashion Week runway shows, where 130 emerging designers from 30 countries showcased their work. VIE was able to witness first hand not only the upcoming Fall 2015 fashion trends, but a UK first—Hunter Original in partnership with Ocean Outdoor live streaming the AW15 Hunter Original catwalk show across Ocean Outdoor’s national network of nine large-scale digital screens at various locales throughout London.

London Fashion Week has grown over the years, and the British Fashion Council has succeeded at reinforcing London’s reputation as one of the world’s top cities for designer fashion business.

The Mayor of London Boris Johnson said, “British designers are internationally renowned for their innovative ideas and craftsmanship. There is justifiably always a huge buzz around London Fashion Week, with journalists and buyers jetting in from around the world.”
