White Elephant has been an integral part of Nantucket’s history since the 1920s. Dreamed up by local socialite Elizabeth T. Ludwig, the harborfront landmark has evolved into the island’s most timeless resort, with a collection of chic accommodations showcasing the very best of the beloved destination. In time with the White Elephant’s 100th anniversary, the resort debuts yet another metamorphosis, with a multi-million-dollar restoration and renovation of its 54-room and -suite Harborside Hotel and 11 Garden Cottages. What’s more, the White Elephant partnered with Arhaus, a leader in artisan-crafted and responsibly sourced home furnishings, on an exterior refresh providing a mix of teak and all-weather wicker pieces for the outdoor spaces.  

With the upcoming grand re-opening following a multi-million-dollar renovation, Santa Rosa Golf & Beach Club (SRGBC) is hosting a hiring event to fill numerous positions. The hiring event began on September 20 and will continue throughout the month of October. Applicants are required to make an appointment, which can be arranged by emailing zach@santarosaclub.com. “While it sometimes feels as if these changes have happened overnight, we have been rebranding for a few years now,” said Sarah Brazwell, membership and marketing director for Santa Rosa Golf & Beach Club. The transformation of the course and club is sure to be a hole in one.
