Construction Begins on New Sacred Heart Medical Facility

Congratulations to the The St. Joe Company and Ascension/Sacred Heart Health System on the groundbreaking of their new facility located adjacent to the WaterSound Origins community on Highway 98 in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida!

The new healthcare facility, conveniently located for patients in Santa Rosa Beach, Inlet Beach, and all the communities along Highway 30-A, initially plans to open as a 6,700-square-foot multi-specialty ambulatory clinic offering primary care and OB/GYN services. Plans for the healthcare facility allow also for future expansion to 13,000 square feet of space offering additional specialty care services.

Representatives from The St. Joe Company and Sacred Heart, along with community members and media gathered on the morning of May 28, 2019, for a groundbreaking ceremony. “I think that that quality of any health facility can be measured by the quality of the community around it,” said Roger Hall, president and CEO of Sacred Heart Health System. Hall expounded that the communities of South Walton and surrounding Watersound Origins would certainly ensure that this new clinic would be top-notch.
