Hailing from Moldova, Marta Rata moved to the US in 2011 to forge a new life on her own. Her resolve to continuously grow and achieve the American dream is a testament to her hard-working spirit. After moving to the States, she studied to learn English and is now fluent in three languages. As a highly sought-after model, stylist, retail guru, and Brand Ambassador for VIE, she excels in everything she puts her mind to.

Marta has also been a retailer, stylist, merchandise consultant, and customer liaison for The Alys Shoppe in Alys Beach, Florida, for over ten years, giving her intimate knowledge and understanding of the luxury consumer market. Charisma, charm, intelligence, and perseverance are just a few attributes of a great luxury brand ambassador, and Marta’s innate ability to connect with people has made her a valuable member of the VIE team for the past several years. She has attended events locally and in cities around the US and beyond on behalf of the magazine, worked with advertising clients and VIPs, and joined us on the road for the VIE Stories with Heart & Soul Tour. In her free time, you may find Marta on the beach, checking out the best restaurants in town, or at the pilates studio.
