Fashion Friday: Betsey Johnson Takes Over Macy’s Herald Square

American fashion icon Betsey Johnson arrived in style on May 16 at Macy’s Herald Square in Manhattan to launch her nothing-less-than-fabulous new dress line. Celebrity blogger and TV personality Micah Jesse hosted the premiere, bringing energy and excitement to the event—as if there weren’t already enough excitement to see Betsey.

Much thought was also put into the event by the guests themselves. A fashion moment was occurring as hundreds of guests arrived, all dressed in their most appropriately designed outfits that screamed of Betsey’s unique style. Fashion students, industry leaders, devoted fans, and onlookers all piled in to catch a glimpse of the Cartwheel Queen. Stories were traded as the crowd reminisced on how they’ve loved her since a young age and have followed her designs throughout the years.

Betsey has made a deep impact on her fans not only for her designs, but also because of her divine personality that brings a smile to her fans’ faces. This has been her first appearance since the premiere of her reality TV series, XOX Betsey Johnson, which debuted on the Style Network on May 12 and will run throughout the summer.
