Bright lights, an ice skating rink, and streets lined with holly! The Village of Baytowne Wharf is making us believe in that holiday magic we occasionally forget as the years go by. This season, mark your calendars as you prepare to release your inner child and experience the magic of winter wonderland at the Village of Baytowne Wharf! (After all, they say that once you stop believing in Santa, all you’ll ever get is socks and underwear for Christmas.)

First, get into the spirit of the holidays with some cheerful tunes with all the classics you love. On the first day of winter (literally), the Village of Baytowne Wharf will bring to you one spectacular Holiday Concert Series featuring the Matt McCarthy Quintet at The Events Plaza Stage on Wednesday, December 21, starting at 6:00 p.m. The concert will also feature a festive light show projected onto the Village Tree and a visit with Ole’ St. Nick himself, so get out your wish list and be on our best behavior, because he’ll be watching!

In addition to the light show during the concert, you can catch the Twelve Nights of Lights on Friday and Saturday, December 23 and 24, while you finish your last-minute holiday shopping and bring the kids for a treat!

New Year’s Eve

After Santa has come, presents have been opened, and Christmas dinner has settled, there’s still one more thing to celebrate! On the last day of December, Baytowne Wharf presents a rocking New Year’s Eve celebration and a sparkling fireworks show!

Put on your dancing shoes as you boogie the night away with this year’s featured band, A Time of Your Life, at 8:00 p.m. Say goodbye to 2016 and welcome 2017 with a breathtaking midnight fireworks display at the Baytowne Countdown and after-party until 1:00 a.m.

Looking to celebrate a little earlier and get the kids into bed at a manageable time? Baytowne Wharf has you covered with family-friendly activities from live music by Stevie Hall, face painting, and other fun activities starting at 6:00 p.m., followed by an early fireworks spectacular at 8:00 p.m.
