VIE magazine is thrilled to share that the 6th Annual Harvest Wine & Food Festival by DCWAF weekend was the most successful festival to date, with all eight events sold out well in advance! A virtual auction featuring rare wines, unique items, and experiential trips was also open for bidding throughout the festival weekend, raising over $100,000 for seventeen Northwest Florida children's charities.

Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation (DCWAF) is pleased to announce it has donated more than $28 million to help children in need in Northwest Florida since its inception in 2005. This year alone, DCWAF donated $3.775 million to 16 children’s charities in Northwest Florida following the highest grossing auction in Foundation history. Funding was awarded in a private check presentation ceremony at the Henderson Beach Resort August 31.

DCWAF’s Board of Directors has selected Point Washington Medical Clinic (PWMC) and the Ellison McCraney Ingram Foundation to join 15 local children’s charities supported annually.

On Friday, August 3rd, 2022, J.Leon Gallery + Studio, the area's newest fine art gallery, hosted its monthly Sip N' Stroll event, where three new artists debuted in the gallery's Fall show. Children's Volunteer Health Network, an organization that provides free access to dental and mental health services to children in need in Northwest Florida, has announced the arrival of its second mobile dental clinic. The local community is invited to gather at Grand Boulevard on Saturday, August 27, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., for an exciting bus unveiling. Community members will be able to enjoy refreshments, and lawn games, meet Mr. and Mrs. Tooth, tour the bus, and hear from CVHN team members about the new services coming to Northwest Florida.
