Petite Pause – Speckled Stars
The Early Days
NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope has recently captured the deepest and sharpest infrared image of the early universe. The shot, released on July 11, 2022, was taken in less than one day—a significant improvement from the multiple weeks required by the Hubble Telescope, deemed the James Webb scope’s predecessor. In this photo, stars and galaxies shine in orange, yellow, white, and blue.
