The James Webb Space Telescope recently captured Stephan’s Quintet, depicting five galaxies—four of which interact. The colliding galaxies pull and stretch each other in a beautiful gravitational dance. As a result, the Webb telescope is already revolutionizing our knowledge of star formation and gas interactions.
