Stay and Sail in Style at Lovango Resort

The family-owned resort unveiled new one- and two-bedroom cottages in December 2023 that can be rented individually, as a duo, or added to existing accommodations. All cottages are overseen by interior designer Michael Kramer of Michael Thomas & Co. and equipped with custom furnishings and in-room amenities, from Matouk linens and plush robes to Nespresso coffee makers, mini-fridges, and air conditioning.

New activities include chartering a private boat from Lovango to visit the British Virgin Islands or the USVI for a three- or four-day sail. This is the only option in the Caribbean to charter a boat for less than a week, providing a unique land-and-sea package. The Stay & Sail package invites guests to stay on Lovango for as long as they like and then explore the Virgin Islands waters on a luxurious charter boat.

The resort is home to the USVI’s only beach club, adjacent to remarkable coral reefs and some of the best snorkeling in the region. Lovango also offers a Coral Reef Caretaker Package, which allows guests to learn about caring for its coral nurseries with private dive and snorkeling tours. Overnight guests staying at the Lovango Resort enjoy complimentary membership to the Lovango Beach Club, including spectacular views of all the US Virgin Islands, a seventy-foot infinity pool, snorkeling gear, beach activities, food, and optional drink service to each seat.

Other property highlights include waterfront dining, a three-beach experience including a trip on the resort’s landing craft to the National Park’s Honeymoon Beach, a resort ferry to both St. John and St. Thomas for access to the National Park for world-class hiking, beach visits, and dining options. The resort also offers a curated shopping experience with The Shops on Lovango, including five curated retail shops featuring hand-picked items by owner Gwenn Snider. The shops include Lovango Style, Lil’ Lovango, Lovango Style Men, Lovango Style Home, and the Lovango General store.

For family travelers, Lovango offers a supervised Children’s Program from February 12 through April 26, every Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for children ages four to pre-teen. The program is complimentary for overnight guests.
