Netflix proudly introduces Death Note, an anime-based Netflix original film about a high school student named Light Turner who discovers a mysterious notebook that has the power to kill anyone whose name is written within its pages. Armed with the notebook, Light launches a secret crusade to rid the world of criminals. Producers and cast members gathered on August 17, 2017, at AMC Loews Lincoln Square 13 theater in New York City to celebrate its premiere.
