Half Shell Vodka, the unique paper-bottled spirit from Distillery 98, is proud to announce its latest initiative, “Sip for Sustainability,” a campaign dedicated to championing conservation efforts in honor of Earth Day. From April 1 to 22, 2024, every purchase of Half Shell Vodka at participating Northwest Florida liquor stores and the tasting room at Distillery 98 will contribute to planting a tree with the E.O. Wilson Biophilia Center, located within the pristine Nokuse Plantation in the Florida Panhandle.

The E.O. Wilson Biophilia Center is an environmental education center that provides free, interactive, and hands-on science curriculum for local students.Their mission is to educate on the importance of biodiversity, to promote sustainability, and to encourage conservation, preservation, and restoration of ecosystems.

“We’re excited to partner with the E.O. Wilson Biophilia Center for ‘Sip for Sustainability,’” says Harrison Holditch, CEO and cofounder at Half Shell Vodka. “By planting trees with every bottle sold, we’re not only offering our customers premium craft spirits but also providing them with the opportunity to actively participate in preserving our environment.”

Half Shell Vodka is made by hand in small batches from locally sourced ingredients and family farmed crops. From grain to glass, Distillery 98 takes pride in distilling world class vodka just miles away from the sugar sand beaches of 30A. As the namesake suggests, the vodka is distilled eighteen times and then passed through a one-of-a-kind activated coconut carbon and oyster shell filter. This is the first U.S. spirit to come in a 94% recycled cardboard bottle, whose manufacturing uses six times less carbon than a glass bottle. Not only does it make Half Shell portable to all the places you like to play and connect with nature and your favorite people, it’s recyclable, too. After the last drop is gone, of course.
