La Scène: Carnivale du Vin 2024
January 2025
Chef Jim Shirley x The Emeril Lagasse Foundation
The Emeril Lagasse Foundation Carnivale du Vin weekend (Nov 14–17) was a resounding success, raising over $3 million to support youth programs nationwide. Guests gathered at The Fillmore New Orleans for a weekend of philanthropy hosted by Chef Emeril Lagasse and Alden Lagasse. A special dinner honored the late Chef Charlie Trotter, featuring a rare bottle of Château Margaux 1900, which raised $475,000 for youth programs! South Walton, Florida’s Chef Jim Shirley of Great Southern Café was a featured culinary star, bringing his Southern-inspired flavors to the event alongside other celebrity chefs like Chef Michelle Bernstein, Tom Colicchio, Ming Tsai, and Aarón Sánchez (who hosted a delicious Sunday brunch).
