The 56th Annual Country Music Awards show was nothing short of a star-studded event. Broadcast live from the Grand Ole Opry House and other iconic venues in Nashville, it was hosted by Keith Urban and Mickey Guyton, the first African American woman to host the show. Miranda Lambert, Elle King, Kelsea Ballerini, Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, Luke Combs, and more left the audience speechless with their stellar performances. Entertainer of the Year went to Luke Bryan, who accepted his award virtually. Maren Morris also came out on top with awards for Female Artist of the Year and Song of the Year for “The Bones.” Other winners included Carly Pearce and Lee Brice, who won Single of the Year and Music Event of the Year for their collaboration, “I Hope You’re Happy Now.”
