support the caa while enjoying one, or all, of these incredible events October 25-28!

Alys Beach Crafted was created to celebrate the collaboration of talents that come together to enrich the 30A experience. This new event, sprung from 2019’s successful debut of Firkin Fête, aims to tell the stories of crafted beverages, culinary experiences, artistry, and workmanship. Crafted will be a weekend of events in Alys Beach, a gathering of renowned craftspeople from around the country sharing the process, the inspiration, and the product of their craft at the Makers Market, Firkin Fête, Spirited Seminars, and the Spirited Soirée.

Alys Beach Crafted creates a platform for us to gather in appreciation for the creative process behind the goods and experiences we enjoy while here at the beach. We invite you to join us in the Alys Beach Town Center on Friday, October 27 and Saturday, October 28 for the Makers Market, where you can peruse the curated market of artisans from all over the southeast. Join us Friday from 3PM-6PM and Saturday from 12PM-4PM to explore goods such as custom clothing from Mary Ellen DiMauro, locally made paints from Gaffrey Art Materials, living art from Loft & Leaf, or the opportunity to create your own hat at the 30A Hat Bar. Other makers in attendance will be Kelsey Floyd Pottery, Hot! Dog! All Natural Dog Treats for our four-legged friends, Iron Collective will be selling handmade candles, prints and paintings by Mia Laurel Stone Art, and Matthias Kaupermann will have handcrafted wood and leather goods on-hand from belts to custom cornhole sets.

Our 2023 Crafted beneficiary, the Cultural Arts Alliance, will be present for the Makers Market as featured participants sharing about the Crafted experience and their role in Walton County’s arts community. Just adjacent to the Cultural Arts Alliance will be our 2023 Crafted Silent Auction and a bar where libations will be available for purchase. To complement the market, guests will also have the opportunity to Be the Maker on Friday afternoon with acclaimed local artist, Justin Gaffrey. He will guide his workshop attendees through the process of swiping, piping, and sculpting with his custom acrylic paints to create their own original painting. The Makers Market is free and open to the public; we welcome you to come and enjoy the live music, engage with the makers, and find something special to take home with you.

Join us from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. in Central Park for the 3rd Annual Firkin Fête! This year’s Fête features a unique tasting experience as firkins of beer created specifically for the event by local and regional breweries are tapped. The Firkins, each an 11-gallon keg, are unique in that no one, not even the brewers themselves can know what the final product will taste like until the firkins are tapped for the event. Firkin Fête will also feature live music performances and the culinary creations of chefs from throughout the southeast. This festive evening is not to be missed!

Alys Beach Crafted 2nd Annual Spirited Soirée

Alys Beach Crafted pairs mixologists and distilleries for inspired, dreamy collaborations that combine the mastery of mixology with the art of distilling. Experience the magic that these matches stir up during the 2nd annual Spirited Soirée on October 28th from 3-6 PM at Alys Beach Crafted!

The Saturday afternoon Soirée features tropical libations from Boat Drinks Bar mixologists Whitney Hobbs and Rob Crabtree paired with Back Bar Project, Jose Medina of Adios Bar paired with El Viaje Raicilla, Ricky Lyn of Singani63 will introduce this signature Bolivian spirit with a rich and compelling history, and Miles Macquarrie of Kimball House will pour, and create craft cocktails with, the unique spirits of Haus Alpenz. Attendee favorites from the inaugural festival, the talented women of Sip of Paradise, Keyatta Mincey Parker and Stephanie Saputo, return to pour spirits from Spiribam, and local favorite, Distillery 98, will pour their small batch, hyper-sustainable Half Shell Vodka.

Our mixology and distillery experts look forward to sharing sips neat and crafted as much as they look forward to sharing about their individual artistries. Plan to stay a moment to glean insights from the masters as they share trends, tips, and inspirations to add skill and intrigue to your own beverage game.

To compliment the afternoon’s libations, enjoy the thoughtful culinary creations of Alys Beach Culinary, Ravello Ristorante, Idyll Hound Proper and Seagar’s. We look forward to raising a glass with you at the 2nd annual Spirited Soirée!Alys Beach Crafted Schedule
