Kelly Curry
Director of Marketing / Managing Editor
As marketing director, event planner, and managing editor for VIE, Kelly Curry’s efficiency and organizational skills reign supreme. To say that she makes multitasking an art form would be an understatement, and watching Kelly keep all the balls in the air is a testament to her skill set! She does it all, from assisting with editorial content and photo shoots to organizing VIE-sponsored events throughout the year. New York, Dallas, Nashville, Boston, and New Orleans are just a few of the destinations we’ve traveled to in the past several years while growing VIE’s brand and footprint with the goal of creating a luxury magazine with national distribution. Kelly also spearheads social marketing for the magazine and its podcast channels as our brand ambassador through content creation, overseeing our team, keeping track of trends, and creating unique and purposeful collaborations with like-minded brands for maximum results.
An Arkansas native who moved to the beautiful Emerald Coast by way of Louisiana, Kelly’s eye for detail and ability to tackle any assignment while representing VIE are testaments to her passion for brand and content creation. Kelly enjoys finding creative solutions to keep our print and digital products fresh and relevant. A career pedigree assisting buyers at Dillard’s, working as a wedding planner, and marketing for digital startups led her to VIE and its publisher, The Idea Boutique®, where she could embrace her true passion of being a master craftsman of social media marketing and more. She can be found overseeing the digital content team, capturing the team’s candid moments, and helping execute the magazine’s memorable and noteworthy soirées, just to name a few things. When not in work mode, you can find Kelly out and about in the local community, supporting her favorite nonprofits and enjoying all the beautiful Gulf Coast offers. She is also a wife, dog mom, an amateur calligrapher, and a former NAIA Division I soccer player. Be sure to say hi to her the next time you are in the office!
