“The Betsy is like a city within a city, but step out our front door, and Miami Beach beckons.”
The Betsy South Beach in Miami Beach is dedicated to public art through exhibitions and installations that enhance the luxury guest experience. As part of its 2016 expansion, The Betsy installed public art displays to provide a “new discovery moment for guests and locals alike.” As the first display, the Betsy Orb is only visible to guests who venture between the two historic properties into the well-restored alleyway. Another public art display is The Poetry Rail, which features water-etched poetry from thirteen poets who contributed to Miami literature. The Poetry Mural, seen here, displays work by Miami-based artist Stephen Powers. The hotel’s commitment to supporting both creativity and the guest experience creates an atmosphere you will undoubtedly want to be a part of.
