Café Thirty-A held its annual Christmas Charity Ball on December 2, 2023. The restaurant closed for the private event and transformed with festive holiday decor courtesy of The Grove Salon. Guests arrived in gorgeous evening attire and enjoyed an incredible spread by the restaurant’s award-winning culinary team, a DJ, and more. This was the first Christmas Charity Ball since Café Thirty-A’s longtime owner, Harriett Crommelin, passed away earlier this year. “Harriett looked forward to this event, year after year,” says co-owner Jackie Maliszewski. “She loved bringing together her friends, longtime patrons, and community members for a festive evening benefiting our local community. She was always passionate about giving back, and we’re proud to continue hosting one of her most treasured events.” The silent auction and raffle raised $64,000 for Caring and Sharing of South Walton’s efforts to provide food and financial assistance to local families and individuals.
