Pink hues and cherry dreams! The National Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington, DC, is a famous annual event celebrating Tokyo’s gift of thousands of cherry trees to the US back in 1912. During the beloved spring festival, the city’s numerous varieties of cherry trees put on a spectacular show of blooms.
