Remembering 9/11
Today we are looking back on the tragic events of September 11, 2001, and wondering how time has gone by so quickly. The memories of where we were during the attack on the World Trade Center in New York City and the Pentagon have been etched into the brains of every American who had access to the news that day. Our hearts still go out to the families, friends, policemen, firefighters, volunteers, airline personnel and every other person who suffered losses and grief from the attack.
Last year, during the tenth anniversary, our writers were in NYC covering memorial services at Ground Zero and throughout New York City. Here are some of the photos from that excursion, taken by the talented Romona Robbins:
