As the digital world infiltrates every aspect of our lives, it is essential to remember the enchantment that only printed materials can provide. Books and magazines offer a particular satisfaction as readers become more engrossed with every flip of a page. The story is all that matters, and battery percentage becomes irrelevant, leaving no place for spectators to go except the world within each chapter. Plus, no iPhone or Kindle smells as good as a stack of books at the local library, which has to count for something.
