New Year’s Eve Beach Ball Drop!

Goodbye 2015 & hello to 2016!

We’re almost there! Are you ready to embark on a new journey by saying goodbye to 2015 and starting fresh for 2016? If so, grab some friends and come celebrate with us at the New Year’s Eve Beach Ball at Pier Park in Panama City Beach, Florida, on December 31!

The streets of Pier Park will be closed to traffic as thousands of celebrators enjoy free live music, entertainment, and good cheer. Even young revelers are welcomed to come down for the celebration as there will be an 8PM countdown, with over 10,000 inflated beach balls dropped from nets stretched over the street, followed by a bang of a fireworks show… because you can’t have a party to celebrate the New Year without fireworks of course!

Bands and artists will perform for the gathering crowd as the anticipation grows toward the countdown to 2016. At the stroke of midnight, the glowing beach ball will lower to signal the start of the New Year and sparks will fly with another amazing fireworks display. Eat your heart out Times Square! Panama City Beach can throw down a party like no one else!

5:30pm: Family Celebration Begins

5:30-7:00pm: LIVE MUSIC: Barry Fish Band

7:30-8:00pm: Light Show (beneath the beach balls on Pier Park Drive)

8:00pm: Beach Ball Drop (10,000 inflatable balls drop from nets above Pier Park Drive)

8:15-9:45pm: LIVE MUSIC: American Tread

10:00-11:55pm: LIVE MUSIC: Celebrity All-Stars

11:55pm: Countdown to Midnight

Midnight: Ring in the New Year with Fireworks from City Pier
