Fine Dining with Wendy Lyn

Categories: Food,
February 20, 2012,

Last weekend, VIE’s publisher and editor, Lisa and Jerry Burwell, attended a fabulous dinner party with Wendy Lyn, founder of The Paris Kitchen. The party was hosted by Dr. Phillip and Brenda Nunnery who live on beautiful St. Andrews Bay and the delicious feast was prepared by Stinky’s Fish Camp (Santa Rosa Beach). George Barnes (owner of Smiling Fish Cafe) and his lovely girlfriend Gayle, Dr. Phil Benton and Susan Benton (of 30A Eats), Drs. Bill and Anne Dent of Panama City and several others attended this great event. The party was so lovely– we knew we had to share the experience with you all. See photos from the gathering below!

Wendy Lyn grew up right here in our area on St. Andrews Bay in Panama City. Now, she lives in Paris. The Wall Street Journal recently named her one of the Top Ten Culinary Tour Guides in Europe! If you’ve never visited The Paris Kitchen, we suggest you do! Wendy has a truly unique service. Explore her website to read all about her tours of Paris and, also, about her upbringing in Northwest Florida.

Look for Wendy Lyn in an upcoming issue of VIE! We cannot wait to share her fascinating story with all of you. She has invited us on a tour of the “real Paris” and we could not be more excited. Stay tuned for more on Wendy Lyn, our local Parisian!
