New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2022 has come and gone, and its shows were as fabulous as ever. The much-anticipated in-person return did not disappoint, with presentations inside, outside, and on the street, plus plenty of after-parties and celebrations. The runways graced us with color, neutrals, lace, bikinis, and plenty of new silhouettes we cant wait to wear. We put together a list of our favorite looks from the New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2022 runway shows. We hope these give you some inspiration for your closet as we continue to transition out of our loungewear and back to a more glamorous life.

"In a time when so many of us need an escape from the world, fashion is a great place to explore," says Christian Siriano of his Spring/Summer 2022 fashion collection. "I went back to a simpler time and looked to my past. I was inspired by the Italian women in my life. The old photographs of my grandmother in the 60's and 70's on holiday in Positano wearing her apricot-orange dress inspired an Italian coastal collection filled with color and joy. I wanted it to feel powerful and strong but also romantic like any true Italian woman."

If you don't know about Miami Spice, prepare to be enticed. Miami Spice is a two-month restaurant promotion organized by the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureaus. Participants of this spectacular event can enjoy multi-course menus at a reduced price at Miami's hottest restaurants. We are talking about $28 lunches and $42 dinners, but not your average meal—think over-the-top experiences! It was a spirited weekend in New York City as Guests celebrated the opening events of Fleuriste St~Germain, an enchanting pop-up flower shop cum cocktail bar that opened in NYC’s Soho neighborhood created by St~Germain elderflower liqueur in collaboration with Oscar De La Renta/ MONSE Fashion Designer Laura Kim and American Ballet Theater Dancer James Whiteside.

This summer's heatwaves don't seem to be going anywhere. Florida-based artistic photographer and filmmaker Jonah Allen celebrated the opening of his first art gallery on July 23, 2021 in Santa Rosa Beach. Congratulations were in abundance as the community also celebrated the release of Allen's new documentary filmed by Shane Reynolds, titled "Jonah Allen: An Intentional Moment."

When we live in a community abounding with beautiful beaches and gorgeous luxury homes, it is imperative to remind ourselves that this is not the reality for most of our world. At VIE, we feel so fortunate to have the opportunity to support important causes through partnerships with real-world heroes. As some of you may already know, our VIE Beach House Show Home, seen in our April 2021 Issue, was built to give back not only to our community but to others around the globe who need it the most. With the help of the home's developers Jim and Suzy Accola, we partnered with The Sonder Project and Food For Thought Outreach to donate a portion of the proceeds from the home's sale.

Healing Hoof Steps in Crestview, Florida, is a local nonprofit offering this type of service that focuses on building mental and emotional health through spending time around horses. Its founder, Narissa Jenkins, and her incredible healing journey through the help of these majestic animals is awe-inspiring. After experiencing the profound effects of horse therapy for herself, she felt called to share this with others. VIE caught up with Jenkins to hear about what's happened in the past few years and how Healing Hoof Steps is continuing to change lives daily. 

Celebrating incredible success in its first year as an affiliate of The Corcoran Group, Corcoran Reverie – a boutique brokerage specializing in the high-end home market with offices in Seagrove Beach and Destin – hosted Reverie 365: A Celebration of Success on Thursday, May 20, 2021, at the firm’s Seagrove Beach office. Corcoran Reverie welcomed more than 300 guests to the celebration that included live music by Yacht Rock Schooner Trio, a live painting by local artist Maxine Orange, and a silent auction that raised $6,130 for The Sonder Project – which Corcoran Reverie matched – bringing the total donation to $12,260.

On June 12, 2021, The Hampton Social in Nashville celebrated its favorite beverage—rosé, of course—with the first annual Pink Party!
