The Heart of Wellness at The Shops at The Hub
January 2026
How Four Coastal Creators are Redefining Beauty, Strength, and Self-Care Along 30A
By Caitlyn Burrus
There’s a particular rhythm to life along Florida’s Scenic Highway 30A, with slow mornings, salty seabreezes, and people moving through their days at a pace that feels intentional and unhurried. Aligning with that lifestyle, The Shops at The Hub is a thoughtfully curated shopping destination, where beauty, wellness, and self-care can be discovered alongside a collection of boutique storefronts.
TThis January, as fresh goals take shape and people settle into a new year with intention, four wellness-driven merchants, Vivo Spa 30A, MH Salon, Posh Polished 30A, and Sculpt Studio, offer a look into modern self-care on this stretch of the coast. Each business has its own personality. Together, they reflect a shared vision of community-rooted wellness on 30A.
Vivo Spa 30A
Stepping into Vivo Spa 30A is like entering a softer, slower world. Owner Eve Nava and her team define wellness as “a holistic, deeply personal experience, one that honors both the body and the mind.” Every detail reflects that philosophy, from the warm welcome at the door to the soft lighting, curated music, calming aromas, and robe-and-slippers ritual that marks the beginning of proper restoration.
Their signature Honey Lavender Retreat is one of the first and most beloved expressions of the spa’s ethos. This multi-layered journey blends aromatherapy using their signature Lola’s blends, a honey lavender scrub, hot stones, and gentle Thai-inspired stretching. Sensory and indulgent, it embodies Vivo’s belief that “It’s more than a massage… It’s an experience designed to leave you feeling restored from the inside out.”
Behind the scenes, meticulous attention to detail elevates the experience even further. “Cleanliness, organization, and product selection are all held to the highest standard,” Nava explains. From the linens to the tools to the textures of the products themselves, everything is chosen to feel intentional and luxurious. Guests are even offered infused water or champagne before their treatment begins, setting the tone for relaxation.
Evolving with their clients’ needs, Vivo recently introduced injectables and advanced skincare such as microneedling, creating a seamless bridge between spa ritual and long-term results delivered in their signature calming environment. New memberships and packages were thoughtfully designed for locals and frequent visitors seeking consistent self-care year-round.
MH Salon
The Hub’s chic MH Salon blends style and hair health in a beautiful setting. As founder Maria Heckscher says, “Beauty and wellness meet in the way we care for the hair itself.” As a Green Circle Certified Salon, MH recycles the majority of its beauty waste, adding a meaningful, sustainability layer in everything they do
This season, clients are gravitating toward effortless, natural beauty; dimensional color, luminous shine, and looks that grow out gracefully. Strengthening and repair services are especially requested. MH Salon’s Framesi Morphosis Restructure treatment is a guest favorite. Scalp focused services are also growing, as more people seek long-term hair wellness alongside beauty.
Every appointment at MH Salon offers a renewal of both appearance and spirit. Guests are welcomed with an espresso or glass of wine before engaging in their consultation. Relaxing scalp massages during a shampoo, along with a calming atmosphere, set the tone.
The salon’s commitment to Framesi products, free of sulfates, parabens, synthetic dyes, and gluten, reflects its vision for mindful, performance-driven care. The team’s specialties include dimensional blonding, corrective color, modern cuts, and treatments designed to rebuild and strengthen hair from the inside out. Ongoing education keeps MH Salon’s standards high and ensures that every guest receives the best care.
Located within the lively yet relaxed environment of The Shops at The Hub, MH Salon thrives in a community-centered setting filled with art, boutiques, and coastal style. As winter settles in, the team encourages guests to focus on moisture, heat protection, weekly deep-conditioning, and regular trims. “Healthy hair is built on everyday habits, not just appointments,” Heckscher reminds us.
Posh Polished 30A
At Posh Polished 30A, self-care is expressed through non-toxic beauty. “Beauty should feel clean, intentional, and deeply restorative,” shares owner Aika Ramsey. The philosophy is reflected in every aspect of the studio. It is especially known for Dazzle Dry, a revolutionary, UV-free polish system that dries quickly, lasts beautifully, and aligns perfectly with Posh Polished 30A’s toxin-conscious approach.
January brings a surge of guests seeking a reset through Dazzle Dry manicures, immaculate Russian manicures with strengthening gel, non-acid Aprés Gel-X extensions, and deeply hydrating pedicures. Each service is gently crafted with precise artistry. Safety and cleanliness underpin each luxury experience. Posh Polished 30A uses medical-grade sterilization, single-use disposables, and non-acid systems that create a clean, low-odor environment. Paired with soft lighting, peaceful music, and impeccable service, the studio feels like a refuge for locals and travelers alike. The team champions advanced, health-forward techniques, including HEMA-free gel systems, Russian prep, and spa-grade masks and serums.
As the new year unfolds, Posh Polished 30A encourages simple, consistent rituals: daily cuticle oil, monthly nail care, gentle foot exfoliation, and grounding habits like mindful breathing. Small touches, repeated often, build long-lasting strength and radiance.
Sculpt Studio
For those craving strength, movement, and a grounded mind-body connection, Sculpt Studio brings a vibrant fitness energy to The Shops at The Hub. Owners MJ and Bentley Jackson’s philosophy is simple and empowering: “feeling strong enough to do what you love, mobile enough to move with ease, and grounded enough to be fully present in your life.”
Sculpt’s signature class combines strength training, mobility work, and functional movement, all set to intentional pacing and music—creating a workout that feels both energizing and grounding. Playlists rise and fall with each segment, helping clients stay present in their bodies. Every class ends with slow stretching and breathwork, an intentional shift from high energy to grounded calm before stepping back into the day.
Warm, bright, and coastal, the studio atmosphere is welcoming and non-intimidating. Modifications are offered for every fitness level. Many first-time guests walk in nervous and leave declaring it the highlight of their week or trip.
This year, Sculpt has seen a growing interest in long-term wellness over quick fixes. Clients are prioritizing joint strength, sustainable routines, and confidence at every age. This demand shapes Sculpt’s emphasis on effective low-impact workouts and mobility-based strength training.
What truly sets the studio apart is its consistency and owner-led instruction; every class is taught by the creator, MJ Jackson, who brings more than fifteen years of full-time teaching experience. The minimalist equipment (just a mat and light dumbbells) makes the format accessible yet powerful. Outside of Sculpt, Jackson encourages guests to lean into consistency rather than intensity with daily walks, stretching breaks, hydration, sleep, deep breathing, and gratitude. These “wellness snacks” accumulate over time, supporting the version of themselves they hope to grow into.
Sculpt Studio also hosts private classes—over 120 last year—welcoming bachelorette groups, retreats, families, and corporate teams. You can book your own private session by emailing Bentley Jackson at bentley@sculptstudio30a.com. For VIE readers: you can use code VIEMAGAZINE for 50% off a drop-in class via the Mindbody website.
Whether you’re seeking serene rejuvenation at Vivo Spa 30A, a refreshing beauty ritual at MH Salon, a toxin-conscious luxury manicure at Posh Polished 30A, or a strength-and-mobility boost at Sculpt Studio, The Shops at The Hub offers a curated community of wellness experiences, all within steps of one another. As the new year begins, these four destinations invite you to create rituals that restore, strengthen, and inspire you.
