At its historic headquarters on Via della Scala in Florence, Italy, Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella has unveiled a new series of window installations celebrating the House’s centuries-old relationship with botanical craftsmanship. Designed by Maurizio Azzimonti, the displays pair seasonal blooms—including wisteria, iris, cherry blossoms, and wild grasses—with antique apothecary objects, botanical illustrations, classical sculpture, and historic furnishings. The installation highlights fragrances and products from the Firenze 1221 and I Giardini Medicei collections alongside the natural ingredients that inspire them, inviting visitors to experience the rich traditions that have defined Santa Maria Novella for more than 800 years. The result is a thoughtful expression of heritage, artistry, and the enduring beauty of Florence.
