As part of Milan Design Week 2026, Louis Vuitton unveiled its latest Objets Nomades collection within the historic rooms of Palazzo Serbelloni, where past and present converged in a richly layered exhibition. Set against bold, immersive colorways, the collection was presented alongside the House’s iconic trunks, guiding visitors through a narrative spanning from Art Deco to contemporary design. A highlight of the presentation was a tribute to pioneering designer Pierre Legrain, whose legacy as a bookbinder and illustrator inspired a series of furniture, textiles, and Art de Vivre pieces that echo his distinctive craftsmanship. These creations were displayed in dialogue with rare archival objects, from early trunks to signed illustrations, many drawn from the Louis Vuitton Heritage collection and staged within the evocative setting of a 1920s train. Displayed from April 21 to 26, the public exhibition offered a transportive journey through the House’s enduring relationship with travel, design, and innovation.
