IM MEN’s Spring/Summer 2027 collection, In Praise of Bamboo Shadows, explores the shifting forms and textures of bamboo through layered silhouettes, overlapping lines, and subtle movement. Inspired by bamboo forests depicted in ink-wash paintings and traditional katazome kimono dyeing, the collection translates these natural and artistic references into contemporary menswear. Presented in Paris this summer, the runway featured an installation by the MDS design team and Rikako Nagashima.
