Eventure Expands to Panama City Beach with New Velotric-Exclusive
February 2026
Sister Shop Grand Opening Celebration Set for February 21
Eventure Florida is excited to announce the opening of its second location, Eventure PCB, bringing the brand’s signature blend of adventure, community, and outdoor lifestyle to Panama City Beach.
Building on a decade-long foundation in WaterColor—where founder Jason Medina and his wife Emily first opened their doors as Pedego 30A and became the first to introduce electric bikes to South Walton—this expansion reflects the brand’s continued commitment to innovation, access, and community-driven adventure.
Located in the heart of PCB, in Laguna Beach at 19201 Panama City Beach Pkwy, Eventure PCB is an exclusive Velotric e-bike retailer, offering the full lineup from Velotric, one of the fastest-growing electric bike brands in the country. The new shop also features a curated mix of premium surf, skate, and lifestyle brands including Starboard, SIPA Boards, Slide Surfskates, TORQ Surfboards, Beachman Bikes, Bunch Bikes, and more.
“We’ve had our eyes on Panama City Beach for a long time,” said founder Jason Medina, a Destin native and U.S. Coast Guard retiree. “PCB has the energy, the access to the outdoors, and the community vibe that aligns perfectly with Eventure. Being just a one-minute ride from the beach and located south of Panama City Beach Parkway means riders can get straight to the Gulf without navigating busy crossings—and jump right into the lifestyle we’ve been building.”
In addition to retail, Eventure PCB will offer the same guided tours, rentals, and curated outdoor experiences available at the brand’s flagship WaterColor location, giving residents and visitors new ways to explore the coast by land and sea.
“We’re ready,” Medina added. “Ready for the season, ready for this community, and ready to welcome both locals and visitors into the Eventure experience.”
One of the most meaningful aspects of the new shop is the space itself. Medina and co-owner Matt Cassidy personally renovated the PCB location over the course of four labor-intensive months, transforming it entirely by hand.
“We poured everything we had into this build,” said Cassidy, a Pensacola native and lifelong waterman with more than 30 years in the surf industry who grew up in Panama City. “Every wall, every detail—this place is a reflection of who we are and what Eventure stands for. We didn’t just open a shop; we built a space for the community to gather, hang out, and get stoked about being outside.”
To celebrate the opening, Eventure PCB will host a Grand Opening Event on Saturday, February 21 from 12–3 p.m., featuring food from Back Beach Barbecue and Blue Mountain Bakery, drinks from Palm Folly and Idyll Hounds, music, a bouncy house for the kids, and an e-bike raffle benefiting Backpack Blessings, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides weekend meals to students in all Panama City Beach schools, Pre-K through 12th grade. The event is free and open to the public.
The new shop will also debut Waterborne Coffee Co., Eventure PCB’s in-house coffee concept, proudly serving Lucky Goat Coffee.
As Eventure gears up for the 2026 season, the team is eager to introduce Panama City Beach to everything the brand represents—adventure, accessibility, and a deep connection to the outdoors.
