Art of Skincare: An Interview with Jeana LeClerc
January 2026
Founder of Art of Skin Care on Redefining Beauty through Education, Integrity, and Healthy Skin
For over two decades, Jeana LeClerc has been helping people transform their skin—and their confidence—through education, expert guidance, and a commitment to science-backed skincare. As a licensed esthetician and founder of Art of Skin Care (AOS), Jeana has built a trusted brand that bridges the gap between professional expertise and accessible, results-driven skincare.
At the heart of AOS is Jeana’s hand-curated collection of professional-quality skincare products, every brand is personally tested by her and her team for at least six months and sometimes up to a year before being added to the site. This meticulous process ensures that each product meets the highest standards of performance, safety, and integrity. The result is a carefully vetted assortment of formulations that deliver visible results and uphold Jeana’s philosophy of real, healthy skin.
In this interview, Jeana shares her journey from esthetician to entrepreneur, her perspective on today’s beauty culture, and what keeps her grounded in a mission centered on authenticity and education.
VIE: What inspired you to make the jump from esthetician to starting your own skincare company?
Jeana LeClerc: It all started in my treatment room. I spent years helping clients with everything from acne to aging, and I kept seeing the same thing: people were overwhelmed by products and misinformation. They were following trends rather than understanding what their skin actually needed. I wanted to change that. ArtofSkinCare.com was born from a desire to bridge the gap between professional expertise and at-home results. My mission wasn’t just to sell skincare; it was to guide people with education and honesty. Every product and recommendation comes from that foundation.
VIE: What gap in the market were you hoping to fill?
JL: There’s a lot of noise in the beauty industry, but not enough true guidance. I saw a gap between the professional world, where estheticians are trained to understand the skin deeply, and the consumer market, where people are left guessing. At Art of Skin Care, we wanted to become that bridge, a trusted resource where clients could find curated, result-driven products backed by real esthetic expertise. It’s skincare with integrity, not gimmicks.
VIE: In a society focused on needles and quick fixes, how do you stay steadfast in your mission?
JL: It’s definitely challenging in a world where filters and injectables are the norm. But I’ve always believed that beauty doesn’t need to be manufactured, it needs to be nurtured. I stay grounded by focusing on long-term health rather than short-term results. When you help someone rebuild their confidence through healthy, glowing skin, that’s far more rewarding than chasing societal ideals of perfection.
VIE: What’s the biggest challenge you see in the beauty and skincare industry right now?
JL: Misinformation. Social media has made skincare more visible and exciting, but it’s also created confusion. People are mixing products, over-exfoliating, and following viral trends that aren’t right for their skin. The solution, for me, is education. When clients understand their skin, they make better choices and get better results. At AOS, that’s our focus—simplifying skincare through knowledge and expert support.
VIE: What does success look like to you beyond sales and numbers?
JL: Success is when someone tells me they finally love their skin. It’s when a client feels comfortable without makeup, or when they start embracing aging instead of fearing it. Those stories remind me why I do what I do. It’s not about sales; it’s about helping people reconnect with themselves through their skincare journey.
VIE: What’s one decision that changed the trajectory of your business?
JL: Closing my esthetics studio to go fully online. It was scary. I loved seeing clients in person, but that decision allowed me to reach thousands of people instead of a handful each day. Moving online didn’t mean losing personal connection; it meant expanding it. Our consultations and expert guidance now help clients all over the world.
VIE: What’s the best piece of advice you’ve received, and what advice would you give to someone starting their own business?
JL: The best advice I ever received was, “Stay true to your values, even when it’s tempting to follow the crowd.” That has guided me from day one. My advice to others is to build from passion, not pressure. The skincare world changes fast, but authenticity is timeless. When your work comes from genuine purpose, success naturally follows.
VIE: What products or launches are you most excited about for 2026 and beyond?
JL: The project I’m most proud of is the AOS Nano Infusion Pen. I’ve spent the last few years developing this nanoneedle microchanneling device that delivers professional-strength results but is still gentle enough to use at home. It’s something I’ve dreamed of creating for a long time: a way for people to experience deeper product absorption and real skin renewal without irritation or downtime.
In 2025, we finally launched it, and the response has been incredible. Seeing clients use it with confidence and care at home feels like such a full-circle moment for me. Right now, I’m developing a protocol for using the Nano Infusion Pen to create a safe, at-home peel experience. My goal is to make professional-level treatments approachable and empowering—something that feels nurturing, not intimidating. It’s exciting to watch people discover how capable they are of caring for their skin safely from home.
Product Spotlight: The Art of Skin Care Nano Infusion Pen
Innovative, Safe, and Designed for Real Results
What It Is: A professional-strength nanoneedle microchanneling device designed by Jeana LeClerc to bring spa-level results safely into the home.
How It Works: The pen uses ultra-fine, non-invasive nanoneedles to create microchannels that enhance product absorption and stimulate skin renewal with zero pain, redness, or downtime.
Why Jeana Created It: “I wanted to give people the ability to experience professional results in a safe, nurturing way. The Nano Infusion Pen helps the skin work smarter, not harder.”
What’s Next: Jeana is currently developing a safe, at-home peel protocol that pairs with the Nano Infusion Pen, designed to deliver gentle resurfacing and radiant results for all skin types.
At the end of the day, Jeana’s vision for Art of Skin Care goes beyond beauty trends; it’s about helping people understand and love their skin at every age. “Real beauty isn’t about erasing time,” she says. “It’s about honoring it.”
