This season, Le Grand Bellevue in Gstaad invites guests to experience the Swiss Alps through local traditions, outdoor adventure, and wellness. Its new Alpine Craft Experiences package includes a traditional Swiss pocketknife-making session with a local artisan, a visit to a local farm to learn about Alpine cheesemaking, and a privately guided yodeling workshop. The hotel’s Extreme Sports package takes a more active route, combining a guided e-bike ascent, a downhill ride, a swim in a mountain lake, and a Swiss Back Release Treatment at Le Grand Spa. Guests can also explore Gstaad by Microlino, take a heli-hike above the treeline, or see the landscape by horse-drawn carriage. The village’s calendar also includes the Menuhin Festival & Academy and the Gstaad Züglete, an annual tradition when flower-decorated Simmental cows parade through town.
