Billionaire Elon Musk is a South African–born entrepreneur who came to the US at age twenty-one and attended the University of Pennsylvania. Since then, he has founded multiple companies with a unanimous vision to land people on Mars by 2025. Fueled (metaphorically) by his concern regarding climate change, Musk’s Tesla corporation has developed electric cars to reduce carbon emissions worldwide. He also founded the Boring Company, which focuses on solving traffic issues and producing low-cost transportation. In addition to his contributions to the environment, Musk has shown dedication to humanity through his generous donations. With fierce ambition and a plethora of resources, Musk embodies the ethos of a change maker.
